Electromagnetic Vibratory Feeders Working Principle

Electromagnetic Coil: The feeder consists of a trough or bowl mounted on a base, with an electromagnetic coil positioned beneath the trough.

Excitation: When electrical current is applied to the coil, it generates a magnetic field. This field alternately attracts and repels the armature attached to the bottom of the trough.

Vibration Generation: As the armature moves back and forth in response to the changing magnetic field, it imparts vibrations to the trough, causing the material inside to move along the conveyor path.

Material Flow Control: The amplitude and frequency of the vibrations can be adjusted to control the flow rate and ensure smooth material feeding. Additionally, the slope and design of the trough can influence the material flow and orientation.
